Pay for work that ships. There is no public rate card pretending every business is the same. Engagement follows the queue (working session, then first release, then operate and refine), and numbers land after we see the workflow. Scope before dollars.
- Working session, about 20 to 90 minutes, no fee to start: one messy workflow on the table, with intake, ownership, and controls mapped.
- First release, typically 2 to 4 weeks, scoped after the session: one live queue, not a demo island.
- Operate and refine, ongoing, monthly after go-live: tune routing, expand queues, tighten controls from real exceptions.
- Each stage names its deliverable: a workflow map with failure modes, clear build-vs-buy notes, and a named next step, or an honest no.
Scope before dollars.
Volume, integrations, approval depth, and compliance posture change the build. We put a number on paper after the session, not before we understand the queue.
What a first release includes
A production path on tools you already run, human approvals on sensitive steps, an audit trail you can read, an operator handoff rather than a slide deck, and metrics on cycle time and exception rate.
